hi, does anyone know what the sparkplug gap is for saxo vts 2002.

Pretty sure it's 0.7mm

I got 0.9 NGK plugs,that or 0.7

I agree, it's definitely 0.9 after looking at my invoice for spark plugs.
Should be in the haynes somewhere, but I can't find mine.

plugs come pre-gapped these days and most should not be adjusted or you risk snapping the electrodes off.

but that still doesn't answer the question
I'm sticking with 0.7mm, because I cross referenced the servicebox part number and got a Bosch plug with a preset gap of 0.7mm

They used to be gapped at 25 thou, but these days they are more likely to be set at 28 to 30 thou.

When the plugs are shipped they're often banged about so it doesn't hurt to check the gap.

Yes they do,but i've seen plugs arrive broken ie the ceramic part broken and missing the card tube.
