Lowering Saxo Rear End

Is it possible to lower the Saxo rear end using just the stock suspension etc? And if so, how? Thanks

Yes, there are guides kicking around on how to do it. Have a search for torsion bars.

You can do it with the axle but its a twat to do and if seased up then take a fair bit to do and could lead to fking the axel up if done wrong or done too low.. If you want to do it just via shocks go out and get some after market lowering shockers to put on it depending on how low you want to go. Dont forget speed bumps and sleeping policeman to take into account I have to drive over them like 2mph or I will grind the car bottom on it lol.

seized torsion bars are no problem if you have a metal bar and a sledge hammer tbh, only had to use that method once and worked a treat, all other times ive used the bolt and socket method with no problems!

just give all the torx bolts/offset washers a coating in wd40 the night before and again before you get to work!

but yeah you dont need to change anything on the rear end to lower it, obviously apart from adjusting the hight of the axle
