1.5D Cold start and cutting out problem!

   Hi all,
   
   So basically my Saxo has started taking forever to start from cold, it just turns over and over and over until it finally bites. Also and slightly more annoyingly it has at the same time developed a habit of occasionally losing power and cutting out within about 2 minutes of setting off from a cold start.
   
   Once the engine is warmed up and running she runs absolutely fine and when starting the engine from warm she starts a treat and no cutting out problems.
   
   I have checked/changed the following things which I thought might be causing it but with no luck.
   Glowplugs - changed
   Fuel filter- changed
   Oil + filter - changed
   Air filter - changed
   
   If anybody could give me any tips or has any experience with similar problems then I am reaching my wits end and I would really appreciate some help.

   After the glow plug light has gone out wait a few seconds longer then try and start it.

   have you actually checked for power to the plugs? might be a dodgy relay + timer

   Hi guys, yes I checked the power supply and have tried leaving them longer but neither has worked or revealed any fault. I noticed some air bubbles in the fuel line earlier so that may have something to do with it. I shall try and track down the problem based on that.

   Air bubbles in the fuel system ,try bleeding it and changing the fuel filter mate.
