Important! : Exhaust Scraping along floor advise needed

Not sure how to describe this so here goes. I am Driving at normal speed around corners or turning into turns etc. I am now hearing a cling sound when going around corners or turning out or going from one lane to another or even going over something raised like a small curb or when you come to them stupid slow roads with slow down grit that's raised about an inc or 2 from normal level and soon as I go over cling or grind noise.

This is not my saxo but used for example of where and what's going on.

Where I have highlighted in red along the pipe work this is where its scraping and clinging. I have checked the back box and rubber bush things that hold it in place. I have also had the back box re shaped that did cure a lot of it but seems if I push up to where it needs to be it will be hitting the smaller axle bar.

Is this the pipe being out of shape still or back box pipe gone out of shape. Or could this be rear shockers as when I had axle replaced it did not grind or clang about or scrape when turning.

Any advise on what could be wrong here. Thanks in advance.

Im confused? Is it hitting on the floor or the axle?

Either way its all an easy fix. If its hitting the floor (which I should imagine it isn't?) then you want some uprated exhaust rubbers and bend the hangers.

If its hitting the axle then bend the hangers down.

its hitting the floor and scraping the end part is not but the part I highlighted in red is all scratches along it

If it has developed this problem it could be worth checking your engine mounts.

How low is your car? Some pics of your car and the clearances would be really useful. I take it the highlighted red section in the pic above is sitting lower than the backbox itself?

Ill find out in a min with tape measure and fidn out the clearance I have. When sitting its clear and does not scrap or cling its when moving it happens. Will try getting some pictures shortly.

Right checked under car I have 100mm so around 4 inches of space between floor and where its scraping etc and around car.

This is where cat converter is and its roughly as the same amount of clearance where its scraping so I don't get what the cause of it is

I cant really tell from the pics but from what I can see the exhaust doesn't looked to be marked. How much movement is there in the exhaust system? It shouldn't have much movement in it.

Theirs hardly any in it but the part that is on the bend from back box to the part that is bending and goes to where the heat shield part is all of that under it is all scratched
