Excessive spacing between bonnet and wings!

    I've got (well not me the car) has excessive spacing at the sides of bonnet where it meets the wings and I'm worried this horrid rain is gonna get the the headlight electrics!

    I've tried adjusting the wings by pushing them in and tightening back up which helped a little but it's still a lot more than it should be, any thoughts?

    Did you just adjust the bolts in the engine bay?

    Yeah 3 either side

    Try again but undo the one in the wheel arch, probably move in a little more.

    Why would rain get into the headlights? if the cover is on the back water won't get in there.

    Even if you got the gap down to like, 2mm the amount of rain entering in the gap would be similar.

    Do not create problems which don't exist especially on saxos

    It's a good 5-6mm and I was just worried about the wiring etc. plus it looks rather shitty if I'm honest lol

    Get some pics up,you're lucky it's not a car from the 70's they were renowned for panels not lining up.
