Tax?!!

   I'm buying my saxo on Sunday hopefully, and it has 4 months tax but do I need to tax it again in my name? Or will it be ok to drive back as long as I have all the paperwork and insurance? Help

   If it's taxed at the minute by the old owner then it's still taxed if you drive it home and it wouldn't show up on the ANPR cameras as untaxed. You will need to tax it asap though.
   
   I think the only ball ache is if a cars on sorn, but yet again that wil always have been a pain in the arse.

   I dont think all that matters till november. Thats when all the direct debit stuff comes out. I taxed mine at the start of this month at the postoffice and they didnt say a word about anything

   You can't but it with tax, but if you bought it and drive it home that day it'll still be technically taxed in the old owners name until change of ownership.

   i got my saxo on Thursday i taxed it online using the new keepers document reference number on the green slip
