seat mount trouble.

   I picked up a 2002 vtr and mot is scheduled next week.im having a look at
   the mounting bolts that mount the frame to the floor of the car and the front left bolt(closest the centre cosole) is not secured to the floor even though it is tight to turn it doesnt seem to be catching anything. Is it as simple to rip it out and replace it with a new bolt and nut? M8??

   Sounds like a common problem. Mine's exactly the same (2003 vtr) I have a spacer wedged under mine (nut won't come through the floor pan) and it passed the last mot.

   I had a similar problem with mine, turned out that the metal on the floor had sheered off so had to be welded back again
