Creak noise from rear suspensions.

I got this noise coming from the rear axle,it's not anything like a knock just a low pitch creak,it doesn't do it when driving or going over bumps etc but you can easily hear it when you get out of the car and the rear rises to the normal height.

The shock absorbers seems to be the standard ones, not anything fancy like Bilstein B8 and such,i was thinking the noise could be the rear shock absorbers needing to be replaced soon?

    Thanks.

Could be shocks, you can buy new OEM rated Bilsteins from ECP for £30 each. It's not often they creak though.

Could also be the handbrake creaking, this is the biggest cause. My car still does this with new rear brakes.

Lastly, it could be the axle bearings creaking due to lack of grease/corrosion.

Yes i know about the axle bearings, don't want even think about that,it's the last thing i need right now.

You say it could be handbrake cable too tight? or might be something else to do with it? Didn't have any advisories in the last recent MOT if that can help.
