Lowering front seats

   Hi there. I've had an idea but would like to know if anyone else has had any problems doing so or had any problems that I can avoid or a better way of doing so. Basically I would like my vtr seats sitting lower. I was thinking about finding a way to bolt them straight in in my driving position. Is there something you can flip or take out of the frame so it's bolted in and lower. I don't care about being able to adjust it backwards or forwards. Yes I know this would fail an mot but would be changed back for an mot.

   I thought about cutting out some foam and at the same time making it more of a bucket seat which would be quite cool and on the cheap side of stuff. Let me know what you think
