16" alloy wheel help - Does anything fit a Saxo VTS!!!

  1. #1
    Hi,

I'm having a real hard time trying to find 16" alloys of the correct fitment for my 52 plate VTS - I've got Pro Race 1.2 in black / anthracite and don't like them. I contacted an alloy wheel establishment today with 7 alloys I was thinking of and of these only 2 were suitable - Team Dynamics Monza and OZ Ultraleggara (nice, but bloody expensive!!!). I'm told it is because of the offset, and even running spacers I seem to be extremely limited

What are other Saxperience members running (in terms of 16's)?

I do like the Ultraleggara's, but £824.00 is a lot to pay (and that is just wheels).

I am trying to find alloys where the spokes go all the way to the edge of the rim. I wanted a good wheel, but preferably not at the cost of the OZ's

Toying with going standard 15" VTS alloys, but it's finding a mint set and tyres.

    Thanks,

    Darren

Just find some Ultreggaras second hand? Any condition, then a full refurb and you'll still be nowhere near £800!

I have OZ alloys on my 2002 vtr.
they need a refurb but id be happy to swap them for dark coloured alloys

I'v got Borbet A's. If you think the ultraleggara's are expensive, don't consider Borbet's lol.

    Hi,

Anyone out there running 16" TSW R's? If so anyone fancy selling / swapping for 16" Pro Race 1.2 (anthracite / black)?

    Thanks,

    Darren

I've seen some alloys that I do like (Tomason TN1 Hyperblack), but the offset is ET25. Can I fit these straight to my VTS, or will I need spacers (5mm)? I'm trying to factor in any additional costs, as although the alloys may be a good price, I'll then have to add spacer kit costs.

    Thanks,

ET16 is ideal. ET25 may rub on full lock or potentially foul the rear suspension so would need min 5mm spacers really.
