Common leak spots?

Just wondering if anyone could give me some ideas on where to check for leaks that might effect the drivers footwell resulting in a puddle?

I've gone out to the car after a few days of heavy rain and noticed the drivers football is wet so decided to start stripping the interior to look for leaks but instead found the puddle under the carpet, I'm ruling out heater matrix as the water is clear and no smell of antifreeze, I've recently removed the sunroof and resealed it and not noticed any leaks there since, at the same time as doing the sunroof I put a seal under the aerial to be on the safe side so my guess is it could possibly be coming through under the scuttle where the wiper motor wires enter the car?

At the moment I've dried the footwell and now waiting for more rain so I can start looking for wet areas so if anyone knows any common areas to watch, I'd be grateful for the advice

This will be your sunroof. Even though you've sealed it again it will be the drainage pipes.

The water leaks down the A pillars into the foot well?

Wind back the sunroof all the way back, if you see some water collecting inside it, it's because the drain is blocked.

youll have to take all the sunvisors and headlining out to get to the black hoses that get blocked up.

You've got to be kidding! When I did the sunroof I did push a plastic wire down to clear any blockages, surely they can't block that quick after refitting as it's only been about a week since I finished putting it all back together.
I don't mind stripping it all back if 100% needed but at the moment even the channels under the sunroof look empty and dry (the frame has been sealed to the roof with sikaflex along with the rubber to the inside of the frame)

have you checked the rubber seal around where the glass rest, common as muck that it comes away...

The rubber definitely needs replacing as it still let's a tiny amount of water through, always seems to show a wet line between the rubber and the glass but everything below the rubber is always dry, it also looks to be lifted slightly in the corners but still stuck in place

crack the hosepipe out and drown everything, then go looking for the leak

I think this might be the route I'll be taking seeing as it sounds like only the sunroof is likely to cause the problem so now wondering if I could of damaged the drain pipes when the plastic wire went through seeing on the odd occasion I did have to force it through.

The roof strip where it meets the windscreen seal can leak. Prise the strip up, squirt some silicone in and push the strip back in.

Just checked all the sunroof area, bone dry other than the tiny space between the glass and the rubber so now putting off pulling the roof lining away unless it's a last resort.

Passenger side of the car is also bone dry. The drivers side however is a different matter. The carpets out of the car, sound deadening moved away and the puddle mopped up. Just looked at the black sponge covering that covers over the bolts for the suspension arms....that part is dripping but only in the pedal area the rest of the footwell is dry.
I have just doubled checked the door rubbers aswell as I pulled them away the other week whilst refitting the roof lining so now made sure it's sat right and the rubber looks to be in good condition. Starting to loose light now but the windscreen seal will be checked first thing in the morning.
