c2 vts engine in saxo

  1. #1
I have been offered a c2 vts engine by a mate who had his c2 rear ended, I was wondering if there many modifications needed to make it fit into my saxo mk 2?
    Any info would be appreciated

I'm pretty sure its a straight swap. Same as a 16v conversion with a saxo vts lump.

You have to make sure the looms match up. 1 or 3 plug.
Fuel lines need swapping other I think.

Not sure on the exhaust manifold will need to be a c2 one but I don't know if it lines up with the saxo system. Presume it does as c2 lumps have been put in saxo's before.

not a striahgt forward job like , sensors need to be swapped over from the j4 engine, sump, oil filter insert, t-belt/tensioner ( i think?) mount, head needs drilling and tapping to fit j4 inlet and some other little bits and bobs!

there a full guide on here somewhere dude
