Spacers+wheels bolts

Ok so there are a few threads about spacers but I'm still a little confused.

Hopefully I'm getting VTS alloys for my curio soon, and as I've read, furious have a shorter axle than other saxo by around 10mm due to drum brakes. I want the wheel to stand out bait more rather than being hidden away.

I don't really know what i need though. Some people are saying 10mm, some are saying 20mm and some are saying 25mm (ps is this 20 ech side of the axle or 10mm each side totalling 20mm?)

what do you guys think looks the best? if you could post pics it would be nice!

Another question is what type of spacers should i get? A link to a few would be ideal.

Cheers in advance for any response!

on my vtr I have 20mm spacers (20mm either side) and the rims sit flush ish I like that stance for the rear. so if you say furios are 10mm shorter than vtr/s then you;'d prob need 30mm (either side)
and if you are buying some don't buy the cheap pnes with longer wheel nuts buy the proper ones that bolt to your hub then wheels to spacers with correct bore size. it'll save your bearings

agh cheers, man hopefully that logic will work! as for the type, i am looking to get the ones that go into the hub first, but i have no idea what the appropriate bore size is!

alright will do man, cheers. Am iright in saying though that you use the original bolts to secure the spacer to the hub and then get supplied with nuts to secure the wheel?

I would go with 15mm Hubcentric spacers, these are on Superturismo wheels,i believe it has the same width as the standard VTS wheels (6,5),wheel looks nice in the arch and doesn't stress too much bearings in my opinion.

stupid question, but with that spacer, you would need to use the existing wheel bolts to hold the spacer then use the NUTS on the spacer to secure the wheel to the spacer right? How would i make it secure from theft e.g. locking wheel bolt?

the spacer comes with nuts, so they secure spacer to hub, then original wheel bolts wheel to spacer, you should already have a locking nut?

bit confused lol. my hub doesn't have studs so i can't secure the spacer to my hub using nuts, id have to use the wheels bolts and then use the nuts that are pictured in that ebay itm to secure the rim to the spacer

You should get everything you need with the spacers.
