Body moldings

    Hi just bought a saxo vts and would love to know how to remove the plastic moldings on the doors I think you just pull are thay on some kind of clips .

    I think they come off with a good pull. Work your way around the edge and you should be able to pop them off. Could use a taped up screwdriver to get some leverage without damaging the paint. Think its a combo of plastic clips and the metal ones, similar to the clips that secure the doorcards.

    Although they could be bonded on with sealant. The metal clips go rusty and fall off so if they have fell off before and re-attached by the prior owner(s) they may be glued on.
    Just something to bare in mind before you start pulling away at them.

    There's a screw at the front that needs removing first, and then they are clipped on top and bottom. Mine were also glued along the back edge (I think) not sure if this is standard or not though.

    so basically.. you have no clue... but you guess if he rives it off with a screw driver its ok?

    but they might be bonded on.. or might not?

    so he should tape his screw driver up then consider it?
