Polybush inserts for rear shocks

  1. #1
I did see these in a progress thread of someones car but can't remember where and didn't book mark it like a wally.

I have set of Bilstein rear shocks and one of the rubber bushes that sit in the end of the shocker has become detached from the housing.

Does anyone have a link or know where I can buy new polybush inserts to replace the standard rubber mounts in the shockers please?

From what I know, you can't buy polybushes for the shock mounts.

Only polybushes you can get are axle, arb, wishbone and gearbox. You should be able to buy rubber replacements for the shocks though.

you can buy them, but IMO you'll be better with rubber replacements.

speak to KAM racing, they are Bilstein dealers and can do spares.

I would be inclined to think that they were particularly old and tired if the bushes are worn out though.

I can get them. On some cars they can pop out. Had that on my BMW but I think I was supposed to use a big washer to retain them. How old are the dampers and how knackered do the bushes look?
