I want an OMP wheel, how do you tell the snide ones from the real deal?

#2I was wondering this also. Don't fancy buying new, but all the used ones look like fake shit.

#3Mines 110% genuine

#6Mate bought one for around £90 iirc, I assumed it was genuine until I bothered to look closely.
From what I remember:
The 6 holes aren't countersunk on fake ones, not that I saw anyway. Makes no difference as a cover goes over the top but OMP thought it would be a nice feature to pointlessly make them look better. Edit: Just thought about it I guess this allows you to use countersunk cap head screws if you didn't want to use the cover.
The OMP logo isn't a sticker, it's imprinted and enameled.
Good fakes may have these sorted but if they aren't present then definitely give it a miss. This was a corsica as well. -
#7buy from an OMP importer.

#8I would think buying one from a proper motorsport shop rather than ebay, I watched this video and I wouldnt really want a snide one either - www.youtube.com/embed/SMxB4RpCDzA
