Dear All,
I was wondering if anyone maybe able to kindly assist me with the problems I am having with my Daughter Nats V-reg Saxo 1.4 8v auto ?

Firstly, a very kind friend has kindly lent me an OBD 11 scanner
to read the trouble codes. However I can,t seem to manage to get past the same page through the scan with the ignition swithced on, the display just seems to carry on reading " Link error ". I was wondering if I maybe doing something incorrect somewhere ? any kind advice would be very very kindly received
Secondly, I have someone who has very very kindly replied to my distress call on the F.C forum regarding Nats problems on the Saxo. Saying that his Daughters car which has the excact same engine as Nats Saxo, was caused by a faulty E.C.U ! and he had to firstly re- initialise the engine E.,C U using Peugeot Planet diagnostics
Thirdly, this would the last thing I would have thought Nats problem was but can this be achieved ? and if so how ?
Many many thanks indeed for all your very very kind help and advice so far
