roof problems

   Hi guys. Not entirely sure if this is correct page but here we go... basically I have taken my sunroof cover down on the inside and found 3 bad rust patches I'm sure are leaking... obviously I know the best solution would be welding however I cannot afford that until insurance and tax had been paid. If I sand back the welding and treat the rust would I be able to fibreglass from the inside and put small amount of filler on the outside and prime and paint to make it water tight or is welding my only option?
