immoboliser fault

    hi the cars been running fine with no problem ive purchased a kms standalone ecu second hand plugged it all in and wud crank over wud the immoboliser light wud flash on dash itself the orange key. do I need to bypass the immoboliser for this ecu or something?

    any advice would be greatfull

    Did you pull the box out from under the passenger side of the dash?

    No he didnt thats why its flashing, the box powers the light.

    I ran the car with old ecu and then removed the box and started fine without the box,so went to plug in this standalone kms ecu it was back to square 1 the light flashing and just cranking over well it would start for few second but light flashing

    You must of unplugged the centrol locking box, the light will not flash without the box.

    where should I expect to find the immoboliser box on vts then? this box I unplugged had 2 block connectors quite big

    thnx il have another look again if its already been removed the light wouldn't come on atall would it? its rally car so its supprising it hasn't been removed already

    No the light would not come on as it's powered by the box.

    thnx guys that's done the trick ive installed a kms standalone ecu shes fired up now doesn't want to idle atall and also the rpm clock don't work im not sure about speedo havnt taken it up road yet
