number plate light bulbs

   hi i have a saxo 1.1 desire 2002 which i need to change 1 number plate bulb anyone have a tip on how to change them ie does just the bulb cover come of or do i remove the whole unit anyone got a link to what bulbs these use so i can order a pair in advance cheers

   You need 501 bulbs - the same as the front sidelights and the interior bulbs.
   
   From memory, the lens should prise out using a thin flat bladed screwdriver, there's a notch at one end.

   open the boot, put you you had behind where the light is and lightly squeeze the two tabs while pushing it out, then just pop the clear lens off and change the bulb (501 same as a sidelight/interior)

   No way, I totally forgot the numberplates are on the bootlids on saxos
   
   Thought the light fittings were the same though? odd
