What's these 2 screws that came with my brake disks?

   Alright folks
   
   I ordered some vented brembo disks and pads for my phase 2 vtr last month but still not got round to fitting them. Just wondering though, in the box with the 2 front disks theres a packet with 2 screws in (i think they are a phillips drive and flat at the other end...) and theyre only about 10mm long.
   
   Sorry i dont have a picture, but any help?

   hold the disc to the hub. Not really needed since the wheel bolts onto them anyway but may aswell put them in.

   Yeah, will do cheers. This could be a daft question (and as i keep saying in my posts im new to working on my own cars) when bleeding the brakes, between topping up the reservoir, do you replace the cap or can you leave it off?

   you can leave it off, but monitor the fluid level so it doesn't drop too far.
   
   In the best possible way, have you got any mechanically minded friends with experience who could check your work over? Everyone has to start somewhere, but brakes aren't really an area where you want to be learning from your mistakes

   Brakes are not hard so a good place to start. You may want a G-clamp to push the caliper piston in though.
   
   As with everything. Make sure all bolts are torqued up correctly. Figures are in a haynes manual or often online. Double check everything once you've assembled and also test the car before doing a proper drive. A few pumps of the pedals will move the caliper into position.

   Lol who needs brakes? But you do have a point. I think ill be ok to do it, ill just take my time and double check everything. I just wondered whether the cap cap would be needed to hold pressure in the system or anything..
   Im very hands on, cars is just new to me... used to be bricks and mortar, but now i work with trains. Same as my saxo, but 2300 tonnes heavier.
