Help on Saxo problem

  1. #1
    Hello,

    My name is Mark from the Netherlands and I am a big fan of the saxo car's. Specially those who have been modified.
    I have a Saxo 1.6 v8 from 2000 and build a turbo on it. I have been driving it for several 1000 of miles.
    But last time when I was driving a problem occured. A big bang from the exhaust and the car only runs at cilinder 2 and 4 now.

    I checked the compression, sparks from the coils, fuel injection when starting without plugs, ECU has been tested, everything is ok.
    When I start it up, it still runs on cil. 2 and 4 with sometimes a bang in the exhaust.
    The OBD-codes that I read from the ECU after reset are everytime:
    P1A12 --> ?
    P0327 --> Knock-sensor low input

    Can anyone help me on this problem?

    Can you tell us a little more about your turbo conversion? If your running a turbo on the standard management you will be relying on the knock sensor to retard the ignition. If your having issue with this it could do real damage to your engine surprisingly quickly. When you say only runs on 2 and 4 how so? Are you lacking compression, spark or fuel?
