Output on backbox/Power

  1. #1
    Basically

Would the difference between a 2" output backbox and 4" be noticable in terms of power? Curious about this. Even ever so slightly?

    Also,

Would baffles falling out of your backbox also make a noticable difference to power?

    NOTE for both: NOTICABLE

If someone knows either answer do you know specifics at all? If not just generally please

backbox = more or less noise depending on what you get. For example, cherrybombs are for loud chavs

losing back pressure = losing power

Mine pops when engine breaking sometimes and warmed up. Has cat on, would this suggest baffles have fallen out? What would be the best way to find out if baffles had fallen out my backbox?

take backbox out and shake. If it sounds like a bag of spanners then yes. That said it means nothing, I did have a 1.1 that would pop when shifting down 3rd on a warm engine, completely standard exhaust.
