Query about dampers/shock absorbers

   If one wants to lower standard ride height by about 30mm, would standard front and rear shocks suffice?
   
   Or
   
   Would it be imperative for one to fit aftermarket dampers/shock absorbers?

   I personally would use standard dampers up to about 25mm. They will be fine lower up to a point but I think there's not a lot of damper movement with the bumpstops in place to get a great ride quality. Lower than 30mm really needs shortened shocks.
