Camber in rear axle

    Well thought I would not get this problem again so soon. After replacing the rear axle, looks like I was wrong.

    Drivers side rear has a small play in it moving back and forth. Pushing up and it going back down is fine. However you can feel ever so slightly when having hand on top of wheel and bottom and moving back and forth is like the wheel is not tightened on proper bit is and moves but not much but can feel it on it. Passengers side doing the exact same movements noting..

    Is this bearings for the wheel or is this the actual axle that is fucked.

    If axle can this actually be repaired and if so does anyone on here know a good place to get this done at who can strip down replace the bearing's inside axle fix and remove play etc.

    Their to ofar away for me to even get to in Nottingham unsure where theri is local to me otehr than axeldirect and they said fitted lowered to spec looking at £300 all in for rebuilt everything as new 2 years warranty. Was thining maybe this I got can be repaird or its the bearinings in the wheel and not the axel thats gone..

    Anyone else got any advise if this is wheel bearnings or axel bearnings gone foobar

    Take the wheel off then try and move the arm back and forth then you will know if it's the wheel bearings or axle bearings but to be honest it's most likely the axle.

    Axle direct got some pretty bad press. Had a few people on here have problems.

    Not up for the job of doing it yourself (as in for a new axle)?

    I not got the time nor do I have all the tools and other things to stand the back end on and balance remove all the stuff from it and then put back on.


    Possibly willing to pay someone on here close to Manchester if anyone up for the job of fitting and doing within half a day or so what ever it takes to change over etc and a feww beers n money.....
