Boot wont shut

   Hi im having problems with my boot not shutting. With it open it locks and unlocks fine with both key and fob. Ive had a look inside and it doesnt seem to be latching on when i go to close it. Any ideas? Thanks.

   New patch, scrap yard if WD won't loosten it up.

   Adjust the striker plate(bit that the lock catches onto)held on by 2 10mm bolts.

   I have the same problem with mine. I took the cover off the inner boot lid and I have to reach in and pull the stiff wire/rod, connecting the lock with the catch, downwards. Tried WD40 on it , but the WD40 dries out after a while. Might get round to putting some grease on it one day.
