Annoying rattle coming from passenger side of dashboard. At first I thought it was something to do with the airbag, but upon inspection it is coming from where the side of the dashboard meets the edge of the passenger side door / floor carpet. There is some play here and this is where the metallic noice is coming when going over anything other than a smooth surface.
If I push the area flush against the floor carpet / left hand edge of the dashboard, there is no rattle. When I look at the corresponding RHS there is no play.
How is the dashbboard fiitted? Is it plastic type clips like those of the door trims? I'd like to stop the noise as it is really anoying.
I know that Citroen build quality not the best, and that having had a look under the dashboard it could do with all of the wires etc cabling together to stop any unwanted vibration and rattle.
On that subject, does anyone know of a company who deal with that sort of thing? I don't have the time / means to take the dashboard apart myself and sort out.
