What mats

  1. #1
Black Carpet with VTR logo ones.

    Or aluminium.
  2. #2
    black with VTR IMO
  3. #3
    plain black

no vtr on, you know what car it is, you dont need tacky mats telling you what model your car is

Id say the VTR ones from those two but IMO they are tacky. I just got some simple black mats wioth a blue stripe border, looks simple and smart and does the job. The ripspeed style metal plate ones are strictly reserved for Nova Merits

I'm not a big fan of mats so I'd say have no mats at all.

Had some mats in my old car (golf) and the gas pedal got stuck between the floor and the mat holding it down all the way while I was on a motorway!

Scared the hell outta me, luckily I had the sense to put it in neutral and yank the mat out of the way or it coulda been a lot worse.

Hmmm, more i think the more you guys are right.

Im trying to stay away from Blue and red on the interior though.

SO... think ill get black with a grey or silver trim.

Yeh when i bought the car the ONLY mod was ripspeed mats with metal footplate bit. LOL.

I bought some custom made Saxo mats from Citroen. Set me back around £30 but they're made to fit the Saxo and they also have a Saxo badge on the drivers side mat. Looks good. Stay clear of alloy/metal mats. Look tres ghey and are not very clever if you jump in the car after it's been raining.

top tip, go to a bit tesco and they cost about £5 rather than £30 from halfrauds!

I got a plain black set of front and rears with a blue strip border from there a couple of years back, still going strong now!
