ok ok i know decat are very easy to fit, fitted some to my friends cars but i have a problem with my own.
basically i was told a while ago all under cat pipe sizes are the same... after finishing work today i put it on our ramp and preceded to remove my cat and fit the decat pipe. the centre pipe side of the decat fit perfectly, however the manifold side did not.
i noticed the wire mesh tapered sealing ring was a little bigger and that the part of the decat that goes into the manifold down pipe is too big to actually go in.
was i told wrong that all bores are the same when it comes to underfloor cat? and when can i get a correct fitting one?
its an X reg phase 2 1.4 furio. it has an underfloor cat.
