Will be replacing the sunroof on my vtr today as its leaking. I have a complete used unit from another car.
How is best to seal the replacement unit to the roof? I can't see crappy foam seal (if you can call it a seal) on the underside of the replacement unit doing the job as its old and squashed/deteriorated.
Shall I remove as much of the foam seal as possible and just use silicone? Or use silicone along side the current seal?
