So after been to one garage to look at my Axel I was told about Mr Quickshaft Gowhole Works Furness Vale, High Peak, Derbyshire.

Has anyone actually used their services as I have seen mixed reviews about a number of places on here such as Axel Direct being bad and also head good reviews on Imaxles service.

So anyone had any work done at Mr Quickshaft. or heard of them or seen any reviews on them as finding hard to find stuff but was recommended to use them.

Imaxles are the guys for the job, brilliant service and give help/advice when it's needed. Only flaw, stories say they aren't brilliant at lowering to your desired height.

Im axles were fine for me answered all my questions and seems as though its at the height i asked for. Even if it wasnt im sure they would have no problems sorting it out for you, definate recommend!

IM axles do a pretty good job had one off them not too long ago, brilliant job of the refurb looked like new when it turned up, its got a bit of surface rust now but I guess that's to be expected really.. but it is all very solid and you cant complain with a 2 year warranty.

They do a great job of getting both sides level ive measured mine and it was the same both sides to the millimetre. when people say they aren't very good at the lowering I think they are talking about the overall ride height but in my opinion that's just because people have different perceptions of what "lowered by 50mm" etc is and if they didn't personally lower their own car before the axle change all they have is someones word to say what the ride height is which basically means nothing.

What is a good all round hight to get for hard driving and also normal communing was thinking maybe around the 50s to 60s area but want it to stick well on corners and maybe some track day use too.

decent service, just make sure they double check everything is tight as i had to drive back down a month later as the new beam failed lolz.

They're brilliant for lowering it at x mm you want whilst beam is on car, but i wouldnt waste my time on the phone asking them to lower it x mm as 9 times out of 10 it'll be wrong.
