Starting problems

    Hi, I have a 2001 Citroen Saxo 1.1 desire. Sometimes it won't start. It will turn over and over but won't fire. If I bump it, it's fine. On the times it starts without bumping it, it will idle for a few seconds then die down and cut out, if you Rev it nothing happens but if you Rev it before it start to die then it's fine. Anyone else had this problem and knows what it might be? Thanks
