Temp dropping with heater on

   When ever I put my heaters on full heat while the car is idle the temp gauge goes down to about 80 degrees (normally runs at or slightly above 90) is this normal? And I find if I put heat on before the car has warned up it takes longer to warm up... So either way I have to freez in the morning for 10-15 mins

   Sounds pretty normal to me,if you're really concerned then change the thermostat.

   you're drawing heat away from the engine. sounds normal to me. am i wrong?
