Boot damage.

Someone bumped into my Saxo while at a stop, the boot floor have received some damage and so the towbar on the bumper,do you think this can get properly repaired and pass a MOT afterwards? The rest of the car itself is very tidy,2 owners,70k miles and no bad rust so I really don't want to scrap it,thanks.

hmm doesn't look too bad really in my opinion it could probably be straightened out and stick a new bumper on but im no expert..

Yeah would need to be professionally done. Porta power might do it if not would need to go on a jig

That is a relativelely easy fix mate,so yes it can be done.

Thanks for the help,it's going trough MOT on Friday so will wait to see the response to it and see if the garage that do the test can fix it.

Just needs hammered out, and the box section re-welded.

although, might be far enough away from the rear axle mounting bolt

run it till mot is out and sell/scrap.

Imagine the boot/light isnt flush now

Passed MOT no advisories, the towbar was easily fixed before the test.
