Axle Direct/Im Axle

  1. #1
I'll be going with imAxles as they're what everyone recommends, but they also have a price matching statement. Will they match axle directs price as it's £50 cheaper? Anyone queried with them about price matching etc?

Ordering one this afternoon so just want to double check

    Ring them and ask!

    They matched it for me

I'll give them a bell now and find out, ideally want the rear polybushed as they do the kits as well, so hoping to get that for around the standard price of an axle.

The chick who answers the phone is a bit clueless so make sure you confirm what you want.

Clear some space in your back garden for your old one... took 5/6 weeks till they sent a courier to pick mine up

    She sounds fit though...
I always ask to speak to the technicians about it first to take some details. Oddly the receptionist was out of the office, and haven't had anyone call be back so far so I'll just give it a try tomorrow, bed time for me.

Axledirect are shit, dont even think about them.

IMAxle or Omanengineeringsolutions (previously fraser brown eng.)

Oman offer lifetime warranty, not sure if IM do, it only used to be 2 years from them.

I wouldn't use them, just for price matching as they're £50 cheaper .

IM axles are very good. I had the old axle off so the guy took it away when he brought the new one. I then realised I had left a part on the old axle and the guy brought it back the next day so I could take it off. (I am only about an hour away but that's good service)

I dare say on the whole they might be good but my experience wasn't...

The refurbished axle arrived damaged (ok replacement part sent out but still not good) as packaging consisted of one sheet of bubble wrap wafted around the not cheap axle.
They then had the cheek to email and ask me to make sure my old axle was wrapped well!
My old axle as said above took 5/6 weeks till it was collected, that's poor.
