Important! : i need some help

   i need some help guys. i went on holiday came back checked my oil and all of my oil has gone but its not on the drive im well confused

   yes mate it was running before i went on holiday

   Someone must have nicked it! If it's not on floor and hasn't been started there's no logical reason. It's a weird one

   It might have leaked into the fuel tank or windscreen washer bottle, common problem on these.

   I had this, didn't realise till I squirted my windscreen and just squirted oil all over it. Checked my dip stick and found washer fluid in the sump.

   So before you went away you checked the oil and the level was fine then when you came home and checked it, there was none in it. I would put some more oil in and monitor the level. The way I read your post is that you hadn't checked it before you went away, instead relied on the fact that because it was running, there must be oil in it.
   
   If you didn't check it before you went away then chances are there wasn't much in it before you went away. The dipstick only reads the top 1 litre (ish) of the oil level, just because there isn't any oil on the dipstick, doesn't mean the sump is dry of oil.
