passenger door lock problem

  1. #1
    Hi,

car is a 2001 Desire Y reg, got a jammed door on the passenger side, rear doors had the same problem but WD40 and a few hours of moving the pins up and down solved that.
I keep trying on this as well, though the few cans of WD and still no success tells me that might be something else going on. Could you help me please?
    Thank you in advance

What model/make of car is it - saxo? From your photo it looks to me as if you've got a good view of the lock, so presumably you can see it in action. So where's the problem?

Sorry - you did say what it is. But the rest of my post still stands. Why can't you fathom out what the fault is by watching it lock/not lock?

Hey wooly, have you followed the metal rods to check they are all connected, and checked with the other side to make sure they are all connected to the same thing? as from the picture the metal rod isn't connected to anything?, i had a 5door saxo with a jamming door so i feel your pain

Hey guys, thanks for answering, solved the problem, the door handle pivot it was. Was just panicking a bit since I'm quite a busy fellow and was running out of time for MOT.
