Rear axle fitting

   I'm getting a new rear axle for my vts just wondering if anyone on here fits them? As my local garage are charging quite abit

   Very simple really dude, 4 bolts, couple of brake pipes handbrake cables and its off

   Yeah. Have a go. Just make sure you wd40 up everything before you do it. How much you get quoted by garage?

   Easy job yes IF nothing is rusted up to death which probably is.

    Hardest bit is the brake lines, Isit a brand new axle you are putting on or used?

    Fitting a used one is only a temporary,relatively short fix in most cases...

    Has this used axle you want to fit been refurbished before? If not,worrying about fitting poly bushes is pointless.

    Because you need to make sure the bearings inside the axle are new/almost new and properly fitted,getting and fitting a used axle from a random scrapyard without even checking it is a shitty job and a waste of money.
