Rear axle fitting

    I'm getting a new rear axle for my vts just wondering if anyone on here fits them? As my local garage are charging quite abit

    It's easy should be done in a couple of hours max.

    Very simple really dude, 4 bolts, couple of brake pipes handbrake cables and its off

    Yeah. Have a go. Just make sure you wd40 up everything before you do it. How much you get quoted by garage?

    Hardest bit is the brake lines, Isit a brand new axle you are putting on or used?

    Fitting a used one is only a temporary,relatively short fix in most cases...

    Because you need to make sure the bearings inside the axle are new/almost new and properly fitted,getting and fitting a used axle from a random scrapyard without even checking it is a shitty job and a waste of money.
