#2It's easy should be done in a couple of hours max.
-
#3As above a couple of hours to do max
-
#4Might look into doing it myself then
-
#5Very simple really dude, 4 bolts, couple of brake pipes handbrake cables and its off
-
#6Yeah. Have a go. Just make sure you wd40 up everything before you do it. How much you get quoted by garage?
-
#7Easy job just did mine
-
#8Easy job yes IF nothing is rusted up to death which probably is.
-
#10Hardest bit is the brake lines, Isit a brand new axle you are putting on or used?
-
#13Fitting a used one is only a temporary, relatively short fix in most cases...
-
#14That's okay. As long as there's no play in the bushes
-
#15Was thinking about putting poly bushes in it before fitting it
-
#16I would for how much they cost!
-
#18Pice of piss. Blowtorch or a big socket and hammer

#21Why should I not worry about fitting the poly bushes ?
-
#22Because you need to make sure the bearings inside the axle are new/almost new and properly fitted, getting and fitting a used axle from a random scrapyard without even checking it is a shitty job and a waste of money.
