N/s driveshaft inner cv fail twice in a week?

   Hi. I have a saxi 1.1 2003
   N/s driveshaft inner cv joint disintegrated on a new driveshaft.
   Bought another one and a day later same thing....Inner CV came apart.
   Can anyone help with suggestions as to cause?

   Would of thought you have a gearbox problem

   Had the same sort of issue on my old saxo. It turned out to be something to do with the diff inside the box here you push the driveshafts into it

   What make of shaft are you using?

   Changed gearbox. there is movement in the engine mountings. Have ordered new mounts be with me tommorow. Bottom gearbox mount moves about 1 1/2" with a bar. Have a new EBT driveshaft from car Spares now.
   What are the symptoms of the gearbox fault? Any way to check that before i fit the shaft?

   Engine mount could be your problem. As the driveshaft is having to move more than normal. Weren't really any symptoms as such all I can remember was one side was a right b***ard to push the driveshaft in and when driving seemed a bit shaken if you get what I mean.

   is there any way to check the crown wheel without stripping box?

   ill replace engine mountings and fit drive shaft number 3. see what happens

    Yeah give it a go. Use a second hand driveshaft tho if you can! Just in case! Will save you some penny's
