cyclinder head

   i am planning on take my cyclinder head off n doing the folowing; uprated cams,uprated cam pulleys,uprated valves and springs,skimming the head and fitting a uprated head gasket.
   
   how much off a power gain wil i get.its a vtr tho so is only 8valve obvious.mk1 also

   lots of "uprated" parts lol
   
   without telling us what cam your getting its impossible to say, and when you say uprated valves what do you mean?
   
   unless you get a remap or unichip you will gain very little.
   
   All the rest e.g. uprated springs, gasket etc will do nothing.

   before you skim the head find out what cams you are going to use and how much clearance you have, as this could make your head useless if yyouu take too much off.
   
   imo no need for 'uprated' head gasket.
   valve springs will depend on what cam and how high RPM you will be using.
