NEED HELP WITH NO START anyone???

   Bought a little 1.1 saxo with a head gasket fault, got it over the road and done the hg and timing belt whilst it was off. No it won't start, when I switch ignition on the immobilzer light comes on when try starting it cranks but won't turn over. Not getting spark or fuel. I've checked fuel cut off switch, all sensors are in correct place, checked with code reader but wouldn't allow connection with ecu as it said 'these fault codes will only be a possibility what the vehicle has' only got the one key and not dropped it recently or smashed it. Anyone help me ? Don't want to fork out for an unblocked ecu without guaranteeing it for Defo

   If the immobiliser light is on its a fault with that.
   
   I'd say you can either get it unlocked or get a full lockset, ecu and imobiliser from a scrappy for cheap.

   Thanks for reply. If I got ecu and immobilizer from scrappy would I need to get this unlocked or would It be ok because it's staying with immobilizer. Can an immobilizer get uunlocked without the vehicle started and if so how to do it

   Recheck the earths on the gearbox and the crank sensor as well.

   If you were to get one from the scrappy you'd need the immobiliser, ECU and the transponder from the matching key.

   Hi have you ever heard this car running? has this happened since the head gasket change?
