Cold air feed to breaks

  1. #1
    Hello all

I have a vts track car and have the 266mm breaks upfront. Im wanting to put a cold air feed from each fog light to the breaks. I have looked and think im going to have to drill through the wheel arch. Anyone have any tips on this set up or any pics. Dont know if the air feed will go through the front or side of wheel arch as I dont want the wheel rubbing on the air feed.

    Thanks

    Track-only-car?
Otherwise you'll end up over cooling them and you don't want that

Car only gets used for track as use another car the rest of the time. Do you think the cold air feed is worth it or will I not notice a difference?

See if you can find some ax gt brake vents they fit on the caliper mount bolts

A car I broke a few years back had air feeds. They used. A flexy hose with an end piece/trumpet in each end. They had made a cover to sut in the hole for the fog lights and then chopped a hole in the wheel arch.
It was a pretty tidy job to be fair.
