Tranx diif what gearbox oil to use

   hey just wondering what gearbox oil to use for my new tranx diff been told standard gearbox oil will do then got told I need lsd oil surely someone on here knows 😞

   Phoned them dave never really got a straight answer they says u can just use the standard oil or buy the lsd oil to stop friction on the plates but found this stuff millers crx ls 75w90 nt synthetic gear oil for lsd diffs and a friend of mine uses this in his 205 xsi sprint car with gripper diff and says it works good and ain't noisey so just going to go for that and it's the same grade as standard for saxo what u think dave

   use standard pug/citroen 75w80, make sure its not EP oil, add redline friction modified if neccesary.
   
   75w90 is too thick, will not work with peugeot MA or BE synchros.

   I use the millers stuff not had a problem with it. Used the same gearbox now on many track days.

   I use the above Miller oil 75w90 oil in my s1 box not had a synchro go yet but always time though, has had a lot of work on the same box was on my old saxo and did a good few 1000 miles and a ring trip, and then re used on my new car and still ok. To be fair I am surprised it not killed a synchro yet. Fingers cross it keep going for me past the first round of time attack. All the miles bar the ring trip was track days.
   
   But we do change the oil on the gearbox after 2/3 track days to keep it fresh and clean as we can. Try to look after the old gearbox.
