Stub axel

   Hi quick question, when the rear wheels tilt in on a vt is it the axel its self or the stub axel?

   Be a knackered bearing in the axle. Be an MOT fail more than likely

   Is that what makes the wheels tilt in, the bearings.only asking as my o/s rear wheel is slightly tilting in is there anything I can do?

   Swap the axle, new bearings need to be pressed in and you'd need a massive press.
   
   Either a second hand axle or returned one. Again down to budget.

   Jack it up and check for play back and forth towards the car first, do you have any unusual noises from the axle?

   I have bare axle with stub axles. £35 if it's any help to you

   I replaced mine , no press required

   Yes there is a purring noise coming from the back of the car.
