Temp sensor

   I was checking my daughters W Reg Saxo this afternoon and found what looks like a temperature sensor connected into the radiator. The puzzling thing is that there is nothing connected to it. I can't find anything in the area that looks like it needs to plug into this sensor. Am I missing something??

   Could be a mk1 radiator fitted and they've used the sensor to plug the hole.on the mk2 it's the ecu that controls when the fan cuts in,hence no plug for the sensor.
