steering rack fault urgent !!!!

    This part of my power steering rack moves up and down and is cousing a nocking noise wont go no tighter on the torques bit any ideas

    think this is quite a common thing im not sure if its supposed to have some movement or not but I even had a newly refurbished rack and that had a bit of movement too..
