Which Radiator ??

I had to change the rad in my vtr about 6 weeks ago and ever since then it runs hotter with the temp needle moving up a little more than it used to and the electric fan coming on more regularly than it did previously.
I know how to bleed the system properly as I've done it many times before.
The only difference on the outside is that the original rad had a push and twist cap whereas the new one has a screw on rad cap.
Can anyone tell me if the Saxo radiator is the same in all models whether it be a 1.1 or a 1.6 vtr ?? Because I'm beginning to wonder if there is a difference internally. For example is my new rad letting less water through it than the old one ?
Any advice would be appreciated.

I would check to make sure it is the right one for your sax am in position myself to get a new one as want to reduce the temps. Can get standard and aftermarket and generally hold same amount of fluid just different in metrical and flow id look at make model and see if for you size of engin. Sounds like got wrong one in for smaller car and engin size. If you bled and done everything as meant to then maybe wrong one or block in system

I would imagine that the 1.6 is a bigger capacity radiator,i maybe wrong though.
