Driveshaft problem

    Anyone had there saxo dump a driveshaft on the floor, car started juddering like mad last night on way home from football, my first thort was driveshaft on its way our, I thort I would have a look when I got to work this morning, so on way to work the vibration n judder gets unreal and then next thing is a massive bang and no drive, so got out and looked under car and there was the inner cv joint that goes into the gearbox on the floor with gearbox oil pissing out, need to have a look to check of box is okay yet tho, just wondering if anyone else has ever done that or is it just my luck lol

    I had this but not gear box side, snapped the hub side and lost drive, not to sure why it never gave me much pre warning lol, for me it did the shaft in hub and bearing all had to be replaced!

    Mine done this before and had to change driveshaft, wheel hub and bearing, it also made a mess of the diff and I had to change gearbox to.

    Mine did this.

    thing is, when my car makes a horrendous knocking noise I stop... So my gearbox was okay.

    I would of stopped if mine made a noise it just made a big snapping noise and just rolled with no power. So natural thing was put clutch in and stopped to look underneath to a complete mess.

    hahahaahh my diesel did that.

    Shaft didn't come out though, it just span in the cup.

    Lucky you. Mine snapped one of the metal bearing parts by the gearbox cup.
