Cage for stock hatch?

  1. #1
Wouldn't let me post in the track section, but does anyone know what roll cage is required for the 750 mc stock hatch?
I can't see anything in the regs!
Everything else looks straight forward, fairly free on suspension, standard engine, standard brakes but can uprate the pads etc.
    Cheers

should think if there's nothing specific mentioned then anything that meets MSA or FIA regs will suffice, however I would personally get the most comprehensive one you can afford.

for the saxo it'll be a saxmax cage

Yeah well I've got my own mig welder so was thinking could get an OMP weld in cage and do that? Not sure how much it costs for a safety devices cage for Saxmax.

Also for fixing the seat in, using the OMP subframes and side mounts, would that pass scrutineering? I'd leave them bolted in but I'd also weld them in, I wouldn't know how to weld in some proper seat rails?

Join 750mc. Blue book should have all info in it?

Having owned stock hatch cars, there are types of cage and requirements.

seat rails are 1x1 box section steel welded to plates (welded) on the sills and tunnel. Probably the easiest thing to weld in the world
