Well it all depends what you want to do with the car lol...you're not far from me, so if you want someone to come help you, PM me
But back seats, spare wheel, carpet, door cards, trims, roof lining, sun visors, boot trim, possibly dash depending how far you want to go?

If you going to be using as a daily aswell id just take out back seats and Carpet inside, spare wheel and leave it it at that. The rest of the stuff weighs literally next to nothing.

Tbh, back seats arent massively heavy either really. Theyre not exactly quality, heavy ones haha but yeah, as I said, depends what he wants from it!

Yeah to be honest it's not really worth doing I haven't in mine yet. Quite possibly leave mine in tact.

So your saying its just worth taking back seats out and carpet? What about some of inside trims?

If you're drive to work is say, a few miles then go full retard but my drive to work each day was 30 miles each way, with a full straight through exhaust, bucket seats and stripped out....it was a long 30miles hahah

Take out the sound deadening from behind the dash, weighs like 5kg, and from under the carpet

Could do dash easy to take out? And under carpet will it just rip out with it?

It's an easy job, as in there's nothing actually hard about undoing everything but manoeuvring the dash can be a bit awkward sometimes.
But yeah, if you wanna make it light as possible and be a nice track car there is so much you do to make it lighter.

Yeah but if he goes to far taking out all sound deadening and stuff. He will not be able to use as a daily as he will just get a major headache with the noises. Will sound like a coke can getting kicked down the road inside there. Lol.

Yeah they do get very loud inside when totally stripped out especially when you put on a aftermarket exhaust system.

Would still be road legal? And I'm very tempted to get the kam racing system

Yeah it should be road legal. Ask your mot station if they would have any problems! Kam racing is a good system but heard it is quite loud.

I'll just ask the friendly mot guy 😉 and don't mind how loud it is just keep it in low revs past the piggies 😂 heard it's a good system and its not too much money as well

Yeah see what he says. Yeah is a good system I'm unsure of cost guessing around 400 to 450

It's just under £300 for it so it's not that bad of a price to be fair

There's a few on the market so all depends on budget. Check out eBay for a good deal when they are on there. I've got a gmc vts 4-1 manifold on mine which are really good but pricey. I would personally only change it for a piper manifold or supersprint one if I had to change but they are quite pricey to tbh. If your thinking of getting a few bits off kam racing see if he will do you a good deal on a package of all the bits you want!
